There’s a voice inside you
Crying to be heard.
It’s a voice that’s always been there.
But she didn’t know how to speak.
And you knew not how to listen.

Right about now, I’m guessing that there are voices in your head screaming for your attention: “You don’t have time for this!” “Other people need you more than you need this.” “There’s no money in the budget for this retreat.” “You can do this the next time it comes around.”
I get it. I know those voices. They love to come out when you are just starting to step into your own skin. They get louder when there’s a chance that they will no longer rule the roost.
We all have these voices in our heads. They love to tell you who you should be and what you should do. They love to judge, to criticize, to stop you from becoming the person you came here to be.
At some point in your life, those voices may have served you. They may have kept you safe. But that was then. THIS IS NOW.

Ooooo. This sounds wonderful. Count me IN.
I’ve been on this journey for a long time. A survivor of multiple traumas including, most recently, a traumatic brain injury that turned my world upside down and inside out, I know what it’s like to let others call the shots in my life. I know what it feels like to be a victim of circumstances beyond my control.
I also know that we are bigger than our traumas. Better than our deepest wounds. Yes, they can hurt like hell and make us want to spend our lives protecting ourselves. But one thing I know for sure is that our traumas and our wounds DO NOT DEFINE WHO WE ARE. We do.
The journey into the light of your own being is not always easy. And it can be scary. Scary to be seen. Scary to be heard. Scary to be witnessed. AND, when we step towards that fear, we begin to heal our hearts and take back our lives. When we listen to our own voice and speak our own truth, we invoke the power of the universe that is always there to support us. The power that always says YES.
Taking this step means being vulnerable. Taking this step takes courage. And taking this step means being FREE to fly on the wings of joy as you start to create the life you long for. The life you deserve.
Living the life you long for is your DIVINE INHERITANCE. Nothing that you or anyone else has ever done can take that inheritance away. Just like the acorn that becomes the giant oak tree, you were BORN with EVERYTHING you need to be FULLY WHO YOU ARE.
